Choosing a rotocaster size
Measure the closed mold, not the finished part. The plate has to hold that mold. You supply the mold and the resin.
The 12″ manual is the usual start. Step up when the mold outgrows the plate, or add a motor if you cast often. The 18″ and 30″ frames are their own machines.
